School Celebrations

Poppy Project

Over half term, families completed a home learning project on the theme of remembrance. The projects were displayed in the hall and formed part of our special remembrance service. Families were invited to view the projects after school.

The Coronation of King Charles III

In May we celebrated the Coronation of King Charles III. Our celebrations included eating coronation cupcakes, decorating a crown, flag waving and a special collective worship. Each child took home a commemorative coin to help them remember this significant event. In English we wrote a special letter to the new King.

150th Anniversary and the Queen's Platinum Jubilee Celebrations

We had a lovely time celebrating this special time in our school's history. All of the parents were invited to an afternoon tea party with their children. We learnt how use a Maypole and do Morris dancing. Past students came and shared a display of the school of photographs and school memorabilia - it brought back lots of old memories.
