After School Club Supervisor Rattlesden Primary School Hours: 3:15pm–4:30pm, Monday and Friday, 3.15pm-5.30pm Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday (term time only). We welcome applicants who can do all or some of these days. An informal conversation with the school is recommended. We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic and organised After School Club Supervisor to join our team and help provide a safe, engaging and fun environment for our children at the end of the school day. What you’ll do
Create a warm, nurturing atmosphere where children feel safe, happy and supported
Plan and lead a range of age‑appropriate activities (craft, games, outdoor play, quiet time)
Supervise children to ensure their well-being at all times
Prepare simple snacks and manage the end‑of‑day routine
Maintain accurate registers and follow the school’s safeguarding procedures
Communicate positively with parents and staff
We’re looking for someone who:
Enjoys working with children and understands the importance of play
Is reliable, friendly and able to work independently
Can build positive relationships with pupils, staff and families
Brings creativity, energy and calmness to the after‑school environment
Has an understanding of safeguarding (training can be provided)
