Hours: 3:15pm–4:30pm, Monday and Friday, 3.15pm-5.30pm Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday (term time only). We welcome applicants who can do all or some of these days. An informal conversation with the school is recommended.

Contract: Part‑time, permanent
Salary: Grade 2, Point 4 £13.05 per hour.

What you’ll do
- Create a warm, nurturing atmosphere where children feel safe, happy and supported
- Plan and lead a range of age‑appropriate activities (craft, games, outdoor play, quiet time)
- Supervise children to ensure their well-being at all times
- Prepare simple snacks and manage the end‑of‑day routine
- Maintain accurate registers and follow the school’s safeguarding procedures
- Communicate positively with parents and staff
- Enjoys working with children and understands the importance of play
- Is reliable, friendly and able to work independently
- Can build positive relationships with pupils, staff and families
- Brings creativity, energy and calmness to the after‑school environment
- Has an understanding of safeguarding (training can be provided)
