As a nation, we are finding the impact of this pandemic extremely challenging, particularly in terms of how this affects the emotional wellbeing of children, young people and their parents and carers.
The Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust with Dr Beth Mosley, Lead Clinical Psychologist, have put together a list of resources for families and young people which covers topics that people are commonly struggling with at this time.
This includes: Anxiety, Autism, ADHS and SEND, Behavioural difficulties, Eating Difficulties, Emotion regulation, Loss and grief, Low Mood, Self Harm, Sleep, Staying Emotionally well. There are resources to help the wellbeing of both children and parents.
There is information on the monthly parent workshop programme of workshops that are popular avenues of support at this time on key topics like anxiety and low mood. The workshops cover all ages and are bookable through Eventbrite.
There is also a link to a concise but comprehensive list of the local community service offers/support available.
We hope you find this helpful and will continue to post new and updated information as necessary/relevant.
