As the children move into Beech Class, they begin the next stage of their learning journey. Whatever their ability, the children are challenged to try their hardest and be the best version of themselves. There are a number of challenges and responsibilities that come with being in Beech class; the main challenge is spending most of the year preparing for SATS in May. After the SATS, we start work on the upper KS2 performance, go on the residential and prepare a science fair. This is followed by all of the leavers treats as we say goodbye to our Year 6's. They are well prepared for the move to Upper school, having had transition activities throughout the year.
What have we been up to in Beech Class?
