Welcome to Oak Class. This year Oak Class will be taught by Miss Steed on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesday mornings, by Miss Cannon on a Wednesday afternoon and by Mrs Jeffery on Thursdays and Fridays. They will be supported by Miss Moore and Mrs Owen-Stiff. The children in Oak Class are in year 3 or 4.

We looked at how the plants we grow can sometimes be used to eat. We tasted different varieties of tomatoes, learnt about some different herbs and what they can be used for and planted some basil, coriander, parsley and tomato seeds. We then used basil and tomatoes to make bruschetta and pesto.
